This summer we have been in the south of England. You already know that I love travelling and I like all the destinations, but feel special affection for some places and one of them is England.
I was looking forward making this trip; my husband made it before knowing me and we have always wanted to repeat it together. We rented a car and this was our tour: from Bristol we went west up to Saint Just; from there we travelled the entire coast line to Brighton and went back to Bristol through the interior.
Clovelly is one of the jewels of Devon’s county. It has an only and steep street that comes down to the sea. To transport all supplies they use wooden sledges.
To stay in a Bed and Breakfast is special. English people are used to receive travelers in their houses for a long time ago and are very warm.
But one of the things that I like the most in this country is that they do not throw anything away, so when you visit monuments you find furniture and very old decorative items.
Due to cold weather, in England they embroider very much with wool. In fact, in the shops is more common to find hanks of wool than cotton. By the way, it is necessary to be alert to find haberdasheries…
And they knit much more than crochet.
Next week I will tell you more (here).
