Christmas is a precious, but exhausting time. In our house Three Kings Day is a day of rest. We spend it playing with Ana, listening to music, reading and eating the remains from the vacation days, besides the traditional “Roscón de Reyes”, of course.
I always have a feeling that new year really starts on January 6th, almost returning to routine, instead of January 1st. I’ve never made great resolutions, I believe more in small personal and social achievements. It seems that 2012 is going to be hard, but I’m tired of beeing scared. Let’s overcome obstacles slowly. I trust in the adjustment capacity of human beings, in their survival instinct and especially, in their creativity and kindness.
It’s said that lack of material resources makes us turn the attention to small treasures that life gives us. Great! I wish you that the Three Kings bring you a year of happy daily life!
