I have been working for the last months on long projects and half of them are still in process; but I have finished some things. I hope you like them 🙂
I am making a series of embroideries of symmetrical Bargello. I was looking forward getting this level but I could not find the suitable canvas. Finally I bought it in England and later through the Internet on Zweigart. It is really difficult to embroider these designs but I like it much and the results are spectacular.
Last time I showed you my works (here) I told you about a shawl that was going to undo because I crocheted it with bamboo and it was too heavy. Finally I finished the shawl with Belisia, by SMC, a cotton ribbon yarn. Since I started crocheting during my flights I got used to leave these projects and crocheting them only during the trips, so this shawl has travelled to Budapest, Shanghai and Canary Islands.
In Canary Islands I practised the tapestry with this purse. The pattern was published in the magazine Labores del Hogar and it is from Ameskeria. I used the bamboo thread from the shawl I undid.
And the last thing I have finished is this pony amigurumi. The pattern is the one of the unicorn form Pica Pau’s last book, Animal Friends of Pica Pau. The original one is much prettier but it had to make a horse. The book, certainly, is highly recommended, as all Yan Schenkel’s work.
There is much crochet, but actually I am with a couple of knit, patchwork and embroidery projects that still they are going to take to me a time.
