Pequeñas cosas / Some little things

 

Estos dos primeros meses del año han sido una locura con la puesta en marcha de The Crafty Room, pero también porque todo lo demás sigue su curso. Este invierno estoy tejiendo mucho, sobre todo cuellos, una prenda ideal para practicar nuevos patrones de punto.

 

The first two months of the year have been crazy for me with the launch of The Crafty Room, but also because everything else is ongoing. This winter I’m knitting a lot, especially cowls, great for practising new knit patterns.

Aunque también estoy bordando; he hecho algunos encargos y un par de cuadros para The Crafty Room. Me encanta éste; quería reflejar lo que significa y espero que sea esta nueva aventura craft y creo que lo he conseguido. El texto me salió sin pensar.

 

I’m also embroidering; I’ve made some orders and a couple of frames for The Crafty Room. I love this one; I wanted to reflect what this new craft adventure means for me and I think I did it. 

 

Necesitaba sellos y tinta para tela, así que hice un pedido a una tienda china de Etsy, Jolin Tsai. Como imaginareis, no pude resisitirme a comprar algunas telas.

 

I needed some stamps and ink for fabric, so I ordered them to a Chinese shop on Etsy, JolinTsai. As you can imagine, I could not help buying some fabrics.

Febrero ha sido un mes de corazones. Improvisé una comida en casa con mi marido para celebrar San Valentín. De postre preparé estos volcanes de chocolate. La receta es de Zoom Yummy.

 

February has been a month of hearts. I improvised a meal at home with my husband to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I prepared these molten lava cakes for dessert. The recipe is by Zoom Yummy.

Y para animar a mi hija, que enfermó de gripe, le hice un revuelto de tortilla con tomate en corazón de salchicha.

 

And to encourage my daughter, who got flu, I cooked scrambled eggs with tomato in heart of sausage.

Además cada vez me organizo mejor y estoy sacando tiempo para no perderme las meriendas crafty que organizan en Valencia Las Muniecas, ni sus excursiones a Gandía a Mi Dulce Magdalena, un sitio muy recomendable. Sus comidas, dulces, actividades y compañía son deliciosas.

 

Besides I’m getting better organized and so, I’m finding the time for the crafty snacks that Las Muniecas organize in Valencia, and their trips to Gandía to Mi Dulce Magdalena, a very advisable place. Their meals, sweets, activities and company are delicious.
