Making stamps is one of my pending tasks, I look forward learning, so I have compiled some tips and tutorials.
The first thing to know is that stamps can be made with many different materials and different techniques. Judi Hurwitt wrote a very interesting post that compiles the main ones: rubber, cardboard, foam, continous roller stamps,… I am interested especially in rubber stamps, and one of the blogs I prefer is Ishtar Olivera’s, who published a great tutorial with everything we need to know to start.
Also Noelia and Lara, from Cosas Molonas, have some very recommended tutorials about stamps.
Genninne D. Zlatkis, one of my favourites designers, has published some tutorials about rubber stamps carving and her book called Making and impression is wonderful.
I love Memi The Rainbow’s designs. She recommends on her blog how to use and to take care of carved rubber stamps.

We can also make stamps with pencils of those who have a rubber on the top, as these by Morning Creativity.
And if you still are not good on carving, Rachel, from Line Across, gives us a great idea on this tutorial.
