Llega el fin de curso y a mi hija y a mi nos gusta regalar un detalle a sus profesoras de Ballet. Queremos que sea algo bonito pero no tengo mucho tiempo, así que he pensado en unos broches.
The end of course is coming and my daughter and I like to give a little gift to her Ballet teachers. We want it to be nice but I don’t have much time, so I’ve thought of brooches.
I have combined fabric and felt so they look more summery and have chosen to shape them in hearts, a sure bet.
Look how fast and easy they are to make:
1- Draw two hearts on paper, one big and one small. Cut two big ones for every brooch in felt. If you want to use my templates, they are here on PDF.
2- Take one of the big hearts and draw and cut away the shape of the small heart, adding a piece of fabric in its place. Then sew it with a running stitch.
3- Next, place the back of the brooche using blanket stitch, filling it with flock (polyester filling) before closing.
4- Add a safety pin on the back and we’ve got it.
