Tutorial: flor de fieltro 6. / Felt flower 6.

Con este tutorial comenzamos con otro tipo de flores de fieltro, las “flores de pétalos”, que son las que se componen de una pieza por cada pétalo.

 

With this tutorial we start with a different type of felt flowers, “petals flowers”, those who are composed of a piece for every petal.

Para hacer esta preciosa flor:

 

To make this precious flower:

 

1– Cortamos cinco círculos grandes y cinco pequeños del tamaño que queráis. Los míos son de 5 cm. y 3 cm. respectivamente.

 

1- Cut out five big circles and five smaller, the size that you prefer. Mine are 2″ and 1.20″ respectively.

2– Colocamos cada pétalo pequeño sobre uno grande haciendo coincidir los bordes y doblamos y cosemos los pétalos juntos por el borde común, como en la foto.

 

2- Place every small petal on a big one making to coincide the ends and fold and sew the petals together by the common edge, as in the photo.

3– Hacemos lo mismo con el resto de pétalos, a la vez que vamos cosiéndolos a los anteriores.

 

3- Do the same thing with the rest of petals and sewing them to the other ones.

4– Una vez unidos todos los pétalos, pasamos la aguja a través de la flor, por el centro, y con el hilo sobrante cosemos un adorno.

 

4- Once joined all the petals, pass the needle through the flower, by the center, and with the unused thread sew an ornament.

5– Finalmente, cortamos un círculo de unos 2,5 cm (para las medidas anteriores) y lo pegamos por detrás, en el centro de la flor. De esta forma evitamos que se muevan los pétalos.

 

5- Finally, cut a circle of approximately 1” (for the previous measures) and glue it to the back, on the middle of the flower. This way we prevent the petals moving.
