Para terminar con los tutoriales de flores de fieltro he escogido la dalia. Esta espectacular flor no resulta complicada una vez que hemos practicado las “flores de pétalo”, pero es bastante entretenida porque tiene muchos pétalos.
To finish with the felt flowers tutorials I’ve chosen the dahlia. This spectacular flower is not complicated once we have practised the “petal flowers”, but it’s quite laborious because it has many petals.
Let’s do it:
1- Use the measure you prefer, for the size of dahlia I have made, cut a circle of felt 2.7” diameter, about thirty five big petals and five small ones. You may download my template in PDF here.
2- To shape the petals fold them in half and add a bit of special glue for fabric, or silicone in the middle of the base. And then fold outward the ends of the base and glue them again.
3- Later fill the base gluing the petals in circles, outside-in, superimposing every row over the previous one. Make three rows of big petals and one of small petals in the middle.
And we already have our dahlia. As I had a few unused petals I improvised a small flower. I hope you have enjoyed making flowers of felt as much as I did 🙂
