Tutorial: horquillas molinillo / Tutorial: pinwheel hairpin

 

La semana pasada os conté que le he hecho varios adornos para el pelo a mi sobrina. Me apetecía hacerle  molinillos de tela y tras probar varias posibilidades me decidí por lo siguiente.

 

Last week I told you I have made several ornaments for my niece’s hair. I felt like making fabric pinwheels and after triyng different possibilities I decided the following.

1– Cortamos dos cuadrados de tela para cada molinillo y un cuadrado de entretela adhesiva por ambas caras que pegamos por el revés de las telas primero en uno de los cuadrados y luego en el otro. Después recortamos los bordes.

 

1- Cut two squares of fabric for pinwheel and a square of double-sided adhesive interlining that we will stick on the reverse side of the cloth, first on one of the squares and then on the other one. Next trim the edges.

2– Dibujamos las diagonales del cuadrado y cortamos sin llegar al centro, como en la foto. Finalmente doblamos y cosemos las puntas en el centro y lo adornamos, por ejemplo con un botón.

2- Draw the diagonals of the square and cut to the center but not totally, as seen in the picture. Finally fold and sew the ends in the center and decorate, for example with a button.
