Tutorial: peineta / comb

 
Cuando compré las pulseras del tutorial de la semana pasada vi unas perlas en la tienda que acabaron también en la cesta de la compra y ya les he dado uso para adornar una peineta. Es una manualidad muy sencilla y queda genial; he tenido que frenar a mi hija para que no se la llevara antes de hacer las fotos.

 

When I bought the bracelets for last week’s tutorial I saw some pearls in the shop that finally ended also into my shopping basket and I have already used them to adorn a comb. It’s a very simple craft and the result is great; I’ve had to restrain my daughter from wearing it before taking the photos.

Necesitamos:

Hilo de bordar grueso,

una tira de perlas y

una peineta.

 

Cogemos tres hebras de hilo y las aseguramos pasándolas por el primer agujero de la peineta y haciendo un nudo. Si vuestra peineta no tiene agujeros, rodeadla con las hebras y realizad un nudo corredizo.

 

Take three strands of thread and secure passing them through the first hole of the comb and making a knot. If your comb has no holes, surround it with the strands and tie a slipknot.

Después llevamos el hilo hacia delante y colocamos sobre la peineta una tira de perlas que habremos cortado a la medida de la peineta. A continuación, pasamos el hilo entre las púas y las perlas, primero en un sentido y luego en otro, sujetando así la tira de perlas a la peineta.

 

Then take the thread forwards and place over the comb a strip of pearls that we had previously cut to the size of the comb. Next, pass the thread between the teeth and the pearls (first one direction and then in the other), fixing this way the strip of pearls to the comb. 

Asegurad el hilo al acabar y ya la tenéis. ¿Fácil, verdad?

 

Secure the thread when finished and it’s ready. Easy, isn’t it?
