Tutorial: bolsita de labor / sewing bag

 

Estoy haciéndome unas bolsas para llevar cómodamente mis trastos de labores de un lado a otro de casa y cuando salgo fuera. Ya os las iré enseñando, va para largo porque tengo muchos encargos últimamente (¡bien!) y no me queda mucho tiempo. Hoy he sacado un ratito y me he cosido esta bolsa para guardar lo imprescindible para sentarme con mi labor en el salón o la terraza. ¿Os apetece haceros una igual? Es muy fácil.

 

I’m making for myself some bags to carry comfortably my needlework tools from a place to another of the house and when I take them out. I will be showing you, but it will take for long because I have many orders lately (great!) and I don’t have much time for it. Today I’ve got a little while and I’ve made this bag to keep the necessary to sit down with my work in my living room or terrace. Would you like to make one like this? It’s very easy.

1– Es una bolsa reversible, así que escogemos dos telas que nos gusten y cortamos dos rectángulos de 20 cm. x 20 cm. de cada una.

 

1- It’s a reversible bag, so choose two fabrics you like and cut two rectangles 7.8’’ X 7.8’’ of each one.

2– Cosemos las telas formando una bolsa con cada una de ellas.

 

2- Sew the fabrics forming a bag with each of them.

3– A continuación, cosemos y cortamos las esquinas así (medir 4 cm. desde la esquina en cada lado):

 

3- Then sew and cut the corners like this (measure 1.6’’  from the end on each side):

4– Introducimos una bolsa dentro de la otra haciendo coincidir los derechos de las telas y cosemos dejando un hueco para darles la vuelta.

 

4- Put a bag inside the other mathcing the right sides of the fabrics and sew leaving a unstitched hole to turn the inside out.

5– Para terminar, le damos la vuelta, planchamos bien y cosemos el hueco a punto escondido.

 

5- Finally, turn the inside out, iron well and sew the hole with hidden stitch.
